Armentino Feria Perez

Born in Cuba. Known as “The Indian Trader.” Leader of the well-known group “The Tigers of Masferrer,” a paramilitary squadron directed by Rolando Masferrer, that was responsible for barbarian acts of torture and the murders of numbers of revolutionaries and peasants during the Fulgencio Batista dictatorship. In October 1960, the Trader landed in the Navas Bay area, on the north coast in the east of the country, with the objective of fomenting an uprising against the revolutionary government; also participating in the action Anthony Zarba, Allen D. Thompson and Robert O. Fuller.
