Edmund Konrad Taransky

Born in the United States. An engineer, he came to Cuba with U.S. citizens Carswell and Danbrunt on September 8, 1960 functioning in the service of the CIA. Immediately he began to work on the installation of secret listening devices for purposes of conducting espionage against the Chinese news agency Xinhua, located in Havana. Upon the discovery of the operation, he was convicted under trial number 474 of 1960. He later left the country definitively.
