Edwin L. Sweet

Born in the United States. Legal attaché to the U.S. embassy in Cuba. He came to Cuba at the beginning of the 1940’s as an FBI agent. He participated in the organization and training of repressive Cuban police forces of the day. Later he returned to the U.S. After the Revolution he was assigned again to Cuba to operate under a diplomatic cover to hide his subversive activities against the Revolution in the service of CIA. He left the country on June 17, 1960.
