Born in the United States. A mechanical engineer, he came to Cuba on September 8, 1960 together with U.S. nationals Edmund Konrad Taransky and Daniel Lester Carswell; they were following instructions of the CIA. He participated in the installation of secret listening devices for the purpose of conducting espionage in Havana against the Chinese news agency Xinhua. After the operation was discovered, he was convicted under trial number 474 of 1960. He later left the country definitively.
