George Shultz

Born on December 13, 1920 in the United States. Secretary of State during Ronald Reagan’s administrations (1980-1984, 1984-1988). During his period as Secretary of State, U.S. diplomacy was characterized by its aggressive policy in Latin America and the Caribbean, with a marked increase in hostilities against Cuba. He was one of the sponsors of the Democracy Project oriented towards promoting the internal erosion of socialism in the USSR and Eastern European countries.
