Georgino Andrade

Georgino Andrade, 28 years old, was a native of the municipality of San Francisco in the department of Chinandega. He worked in agriculture cultivating his own fields.

He served as a responsible for a regional literacy campaign. He was murdered by former troops of Somoza’s National Guard on Sunday, May 18, 1980. Like him, eight other literacy teachers were murdered during the campaign.
