Gilberto Gomez Limon

On March 22, 2001, an oral hearing was begun to hear the case of the assassination of Bishop Juan Jose Gerardi, in an atmosphere of threats and intimidation against several of those involved in the hearing. Gilberto Gomez Limon, a key witness against Jose Obdulio Villanueva, was among those, he reported that his brother Noe received threats and asked to change his testimony. Noe Gomez Limon was later assassinated.
