James Noel

Born in the United States. In 1959 he became Head of CIA operations based in the U.S. embassy in Cuba from where he directed subversive actions against the Cuban Revolution during the early years of the Revolution, maintaining close ties with internal terrorist groups and individuals. According to declarations made to the U.S. press by terrorist Frank Sturgis near the end of the 1960s, this diplomat was aware of assassination plots against Commander-in-Chief Fidel Castro Ruz.
