Jose Miro Cardona

Born in 1903 in Cuba. He went to the United States after the triumph of the Cuban Revolution, where he was recruited by the CIA and named president of the Cuban Revolutionary Council (CRC), with the objective of directing the "government" which would occupy a presumed “beach head” at the Bay of Pigs. After the attempt failed, he resigned his position.
