Born in the USA on December 13, 1942.
She has hold different positions in the U.S. external service since 1986. On September 30, 1999 she was nominated Head of the U.S. Interests Section in Havana. In such a capacity she developed a provocative behavior that interfered with the Cuban State.
She contacted counterrevolutionary groups inside the country to promote and organize underground activities. She had several meetings in her official residence in Havana with the most important leaders of these groups. In flagrant violation of her diplomatic status, she supplied them with means and resources. James Cason replaced her in September, 2002.
